Q1. We are planning on relocating but are not sure on where. Should we make contact now or when we have a location confirmed.

A1. Generally we ask that you contact us as soon as possible. We may assist or even provide options that you may not have considered previously.

Q2. We have found and confirmed our space but are not sure on the requirement queries you have indicated?

A2. Our initial consultation will assist the determination of your requirements

Q3. We note that you are a design and construct firm but we have a builder who we have worked with previously - can we use your company for design only?

A3. Our services are optional - Intact Projects can provide any and or all of our services

Q4. We have been contacted by other firms to carry out design only. They specialise only in design - will these firms provide a better design?

A4. Intact Projects has developed standards which are usually higher than those of our competitors. To assess our design team we ask that you take advantage of our free initial consultation.

Q5. We are concerned about agreeing to professional design services which may not achieve our expectation.

A5. Intact Projects provides a staged approach to the design consultation fees. This staged approach is broken down into costs. There is no clause to suggest we maintain our services beyond your comfort level.

Q6. We have a design for our new facility and require a builder. Do you provide building services only?

A6. Our services are optional - Intact Projects can provide any and or all of our services

Q7. What is the difference between Head Contract, Construction Management and Design & Construct?

Q8. Are you expensive because you have so much accreditation?

A8. Our QA system actually decreases time to carry out tasks and our O/EH&S systems provides peace of mind during construction. Our rates are competitive.

Q9. We have a design proposal which is much more competitive to yours.

A9.We ask that you evaluate the services and in particular the level of documentation they will provide. Documentation should be regarded as a translation of your intent and requirements, to a builder who indirectly may employ over 100 people to construct your new facility. Each individual will refer to the drawings provided and misinterpretation will inevitably result in errors and time delays - which will increase your costs three fold to any design fees.
